This error occurs after the program has already been installed. The Updater is unable to find the installation source of the toolkit and is therefore unable to update or reinstall the product. The installation source has either been moved or is corrupted.
Solution:
1. Download the ExtendScript Toolkit
A. Put the downloaded .dmg file in the same location you originally installed from. Possibly the Desktop?
B. Try Updating. if this doesn’t work try double-clicking on the dmg and the updating
2. Repair or Reinstall InDesign
A. Run the Installer, located at: HD:Applications>Utilities>Adobe Installer> Add or Remove Adobe Creative Suite 3
B. Select Install or Reinstall, click ‘Next’
C. Select InDesign, then click ‘Next’
D. Click ‘Install’
3. Uninstall InDesign, Install Indesign
