Begin an InDesign Document with a Left Handed Page
They are many reasons you might want to begin an InDesign document with a left handed page. For example, you are putting together printer spreads for a cover design. You need four pages: a Front Cover, Back Cover, Inside Front Cover, and Inside Back Cover. You are going to want spreads, but when you create that document, you get this:
Here is the solution:
1. Open the pages palette. Window > Pages
2. Select pages 2 and 3 by shift-clicking each one.
3. Click the little triangle menu in the Pages palette and choose Keep Spreads Together.
4. Delete pages 1 and 4.
5. Right click the new spread and choose Duplicate Spread
