Can’t open a Microsoft Publisher File Using InDesign CS3?
Adobe InDesign CS3 isn’t capable of opening up Microsoft Publisher Files
In order to convert a MS Publisher file to InDesign you will first need to use PageMaker. If you don’t have PageMaker you can download a free trial from Adobe’s Website.
Solution:
1. Go to Start>All Programs>Adobe>PageMaker 7.0>Converter for Microsoft Publisher and QuarkXPress
2. File>Select Files
3. Select the file you wish to Convert and then click on ‘Select’
4. Click ‘Convert’
You MS Publisher file is now converted to a PageMaker 7 File and can be opened using InDesign
