Problems with ONYX Postershop 6.5

Reader Malcom writes in to ask:

When greyscale or bitmap images placed in InDesign CS2 or CS3 (mac) are printed
to ONYX Postershop 6.5, the images invert to negative. This doesn’t happen in
Quark. I can get around it by reversing the image to a negative in CS2, however,
this doesn’t work in InDesign CS3 as the images don’t print at all. Must be an color
management InDesign problem. Any help?

Afraid no one around here has any experience with Postershop. So, just posting here in case anyone else has run into this problem and has any insight.

I am running into same problem. With grayscale images in CS2 when you go to print, under the color management option select (let illustrator determine color). That has worked for me. In CS3 I think we are out of luck unless we update the Onyx to 7.1.

Are you printing direct from InDesign using the virtual printer or are you saving the file out and opening it directly into RipQueue or Preflight?
