Sync InDesign CS3 Pantone Color Values with PhotoShop
In InDesign CS2 and CS3 you can choose to use LAB values for spot colors rather than cmyk values. Setting this as a default will help you to manage color between InDesign and Photoshop and better ensure that spot colors remain consistent. To do this follow the steps below.
- Open InDesign and make sure you don’t have any documents open.
- Go to your swatches pallet/panel fly-out menu and select Ink Manager

- Within the Ink Manager Select Use Standard LAB Values for Spots .

- Click Ok. Close InDesign. That selection is now saved as a default.
